Weaving has begun on the first prototype for the Alzheimer Scotland tartan. Nan’s winning design is being produced at Glasgow Clyde College by a second year student called Katy. Katy has started warping up today and some photos can be seen of the process here.

I hold undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Design from Middlesex University,London, and a PhD in Product Design Assessment from the University of Westminster, London. My research explores the discipline of design and how disruptive design interventions can enact positive change in health and social care and elsewhere.
